Today we will talk about things common worldwide but strange in India. Such things are common in Europe or America but when we look at the same things from the Indian perspective, they will seem strange and you will get a weird response from most Indians.
01 – Homosexuality:
Yes, you read that right, Homosexuality is a common thing in most of the world but when you see it from an Indian perspective. You will find it weird. People who have the same gender and love each other, That kind of relationship will make most Indians surprised, Their reactions will surprise you. Like “Oh Really? A Man Can Marry a Man? A girl can kiss a Girl?”
02 – Divorce:
Divorce is the second thing on the list, Am 28 years old and from India, and I don’t know or have met a divorced person. Am talking about the majority of the population, Yes there are many divorced in India, so No arguing about that, But the Majority of people’s reactions will surprise you.
03 – living without parents:
Another weird thing for the Indians. In European and American films I have seen how any adult boy or girl who lives with their parents is made fun of. Most recently Arthur is in Murray’s show in the Joker movie when he talks about living with his mother. So all the audience laughs at him. In India, if someone leaves his parents and starts living separately from them, he has to listen to the taunts of his relatives. It seems as if he has sinned.
